Aims and philosophy

At Holmewood we celebrate neurodivergance and support our young people to develop their strengths.

The school offers the national curriculum as well as a comprehensive life skills programme.

This, combined with holistic onsite therapeutic support, gives pupils the skills they need to achieve independence in the world beyond school.

Pupils are supported across two sites, at the Upper School and the Lower School. Older pupils are supported to attend college and also undertake work experience.

The school was awarded an Outstanding rating by Ofsted following their visit in May 2022 and are proud to have Advanced Accreditation Status granted by the National Autistic Society
