General environment

Oakfield House School is a large country house set in its own substantial grounds in a semi-rural location outside Preston. We are surrounded by the sound of bird song, hedgehogs and squirrels. Oakfield House School is set in eight acres of landscaped gardens that include our own woodland trails through our orchards and vegetable patches for each class to grow their own produce.

Aims and philosophy

As a Nurture school we work hard to provide a calm, supportive and warm caring environment in which our children can flourish, so they can begin to achieve and be the very best that they can in all areas of their development. Underpinning what we do is value, respect and responsibility.
